With the Cortexa AV control, you have the capability to control almost any device with integrated IR control. This includes TVs, DVD/CDs, DVRs, Tuners etc., from virtually any manufacturer. Using the existing remote control for this device, IR commands are quickly learned into the Cortexa Home Controller. The system has an integrated remote control designer, allowing you to build your own custom remote to control one or multiple devices. Not only can buttons on the remote send commands to individual audio/video components, they can also trigger any event you have set up in the Cortexa.For example, one button labeled DVD may perform the following functions; turn on the DVD player, turn on a TV or projector, dim lights, set room temperature, close shades. The designer is easy to use and as you can see, highly flexible in terms of what can be achieved. Multiple remote controls may be built; the possibilities are limited only by your imagination. |
