Austin company demonstrates leading edge technology in two showcase homes

Austin, Texas ­– May 10, 2006 – Want to lower the lights, listen to your favorite music anywhere in your home, secure your home and water the lawn by simply touching a screen?  Think you can do all that from your Pocket PC?  Well, it is now entirely possible to control many of functions in your home from your Pocket PC, an in wall touch screen or over the Internet. 

This weekend, Austin-based Cortexa Technology will show the hundreds of visitors at the Flintrock Falls Showcase of Homes that the home of future is entirely possible now.  And, it is completely affordable.    

The complete Cortexa solution is installed in both the Stadler and Jenkins home, 102 and 105 Golden Bear Cove respectively.  The Cortexa system was installed in the Stadler home by Austin Home Solutions and in the Jenkins hone by Saber Security.

The Cortexa home automation system allows a homeowner to control multiple systems inside and outside of the home. The Flintrock Falls Showcase is open now through Sunday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
